Digital Audio Recorder

A small recorder of good sound quality; the files can be transferred to a computer. Used to capture Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVPs).

Digital Video Recording System (DVR)

The DVR system we use is a 4 channel, fully integrated, real time, and hardware based standalone digital video recorder. It has Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) camera control, video/ audio input and output, remote network access, USB2.0 backup, a 500GB HD, DVD Burner and indoor/outdoor weatherproof day or night cameras with 50' night vision. This allows us to record hours of video without having to change tapes or have anyone around to work it.

EMF/Gauss meter, ELF Meter

This device detects electrostatic (Tesla) and electromagnetic (Gauss) fields with extremely high sensitivity, and it has a very high range.

K2 Meter

An EMF meter that measures magnetic and electrical fields and may be re calibrated for paranormal investigations. Excellent for working in dark conditions since the output is displayed via a series of multicolored LEDs.

Night Shot Video Camcorder

A camcorder that records and plays Super 8 or MiniDV tapes. They can also record on a memory stick. Uses Night Shot or Night Vision to capture video in complete darkness. Our group uses three different models.

Infrared Illuminator

Although we use several infrared illuminators, our favorite, the Phantom Lite, runs on a 9-volt battery. The distance on this is about 50ft. and aides in lighting up the area you are filming or taking pictures, allowing us to get a better image in complete darkness. A great accessory to your MiniDV or Camera with night vision.

TriField Natural EM Meter

An EMF detector that measures EMF and Radio / Microwave with audible warning. Expensive in cost, sensitive and easily damaged.

Laser Grid

Used for establishing a controlled pattern while filming. Should a shadow or other form move through the field being filmed, the changes in the laser grid pattern make it more noticable.
